Dust and Dawn Devlog
Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out Dust and Dawn.
Roughly three weeks ago, I stumbled upon a challenge called Juice that Hack Club was hosting. The Challenge? Code a 30 min long game in 100 hours in two months. I had already been thinking about making a game, so when I saw the challenge, I said why not. Initially, I thought I could do it by myself, but less than 24 hours later, I decided maybe that wasn't the best idea, and assembled a team.
The Team:
Kerhylon Kava - Me! Coder, robotics kid, artist & violinist, crocheter, swimmer, pottery enthusiast etc. Needs constant alone time, and lives half of life wearing headphones & listening to music!
Notacupochai - Twin #1. Graphic designer, animator & composer | Hates sports but rows competitively, 24/7 music listener, enjoyer of old books and orange juice in green mugs (specifically green mugs)
Slloom - Twin #2. Co-coder, quest giver | violin virtuoso & composer; amateur photographer; tea addict and acrobatic extraordinaire (will run off and join the circus when you aren’t looking)
Peter M - Graphic designer, wannabe blacksmith (be careful with the battle hammer in the shed), track star (?), and has a trampoline in backyard (therefore, ideal to host meetings)
All of us are freshmen in high school; None of us have ever made a game before; But with a little luck and a lot of work, maybe we can make something that we'll still be proud of in four years.
Enjoy our game!
